  1. Though the monsoon “onset” over Kerala was declared on 31st May 2020, but no progress of south-west monsoon-has further noticed till 20th June 2020.
  1. IMD delayed reason was quoted as standard deviation from 11th June for 5 days. That date is also passed away. Now the IMD should call this declared monsoon date 11th June as “delayed” or “soft onset” monsoon.
  1. What IMD will likely to call monsoon-if it does not rains heavy to very heavy till 21st June 2020 and beyond 21st June 2020. 
  1. Rains over Mumbai City from 18th June 2018 to 20th June 2018 are negligible and is very difficult to measure for the further days to come. Rains of 5mm to 20mm rains for any full day are not an “onset” monsoon over Mumbai City.
  1. We advise the IMD to withdraw its “onset” monsoon immediately otherwise their set or rules, factor & guidelines-has to be revised according to their wishes only, because IMD has not maintained any single criteria for declaration on “onset” monsoon over Mumbai City.
  1. IMD is simply misguiding the rains recorded data’s for the “onset” monsoon over Mumbai City and stretching these rains recorded data’s to prove the “onset” monsoon over Mumbai City.
  1. Unlikely if IMD did not get heavy rains to very heavy rains over Mumbai City till 27th June 2020, than what will happen for their “onset” monsoon for 14th June 2020.
  1. Who is answerable and who will answerable for declaration of such type of “onset” monsoon in the history of Mumbai City.
  1. Please do not forget to mention our name “Dr.Bajaj Weather” in your “press release” and weather bulletin for the country. It will be very unfair on the part of IMD if they do not mention our name-in such type of “onset” monsoon, declared by IMD.
